A practical guide to trading on Deepwoken Marketplace
The board helps players find and compare community trade offers. It does not set item values, verify completed exchanges, or guarantee that an offer is still available. This guide explains what the listings show and what to check before you agree to a trade.

Choose the right kind of listing
The Item Market groups structured buy and sell offers around a particular item. Open an item page to compare the active offers for it. Use the Trade Forums when your request needs more context, several different items, or a broader description than the item offer fields provide.
A clearer listing is easier to compare. Name the item you want, list each item and quantity you are offering, and include any conditions that affect the exchange. Recheck the post before publishing so the title, requested items, and description agree with one another.
Item pages allow one active buy offer and one active sell offer per user for each item. Their structured terms make similar offers easier to compare. A forum post is the better fit when the offer needs a longer explanation or does not fit that structure.
Make a listing easy to act on
Write the post for a player who does not know what you have in mind. State what you are seeking, what you are offering, and the quantity for each. If a detail changes whether you would accept a trade, put it in the description instead of leaving the other player to guess.
Before posting, check that the title and offer fields match. Avoid relying on shorthand that could mean different things to different players. A short, specific listing gives people a clear basis for asking a question or making a counteroffer.
Read activity counts as activity
Counts on the market describe current listing activity. They are not sale prices, completed trades, or proof that two players accepted an offer. A listing may become outdated when its owner trades the item or changes their plans, so confirm that the offer is still open before you arrange an exchange.
The homepage snapshot ranks items by active offer exposure. It is a way to find busy item pages, not a price guide or an estimate of what an item should be worth. Use the individual offers to see what players are currently proposing, then decide whether the terms work for you.
Some single-counter-item offers can appear on both the target item page and its matching counterpart page. This makes the offer easier to discover, but it means market exposure should not be read as a count of unique completed trades. Compare the offer details themselves instead of inferring value from a busy page.
Review the trader and the terms
A profile can show a trader’s public posts, item offers, linked account details, and community vouches. Optional Roblox verification confirms ownership of the linked Roblox account; it does not confirm trade history. Vouches are comments from other users and are not proof that a particular exchange took place.
Before agreeing, compare the other player’s message with the listing and settle the exact items and quantities in the game’s own trade interface. If anything changes, pause and confirm the revised terms with the other player before accepting.
Keep your account and exchange safe
- Never share your Roblox or Discord password, sign-in code, or recovery code.
- Check the other player’s account name and the full trade contents yourself.
- Do not treat an offer count, profile badge, or vouch as a guarantee.
- Use the community Discord for site questions, and do not post private details publicly.
